 |  Even with Joan’s accident and Judith’s missing the Delegation to accompany Joan to Kenya, the rest of us had an amazing time in Ethiopia. The history, the UNESCO sights, and the wonderful Ethiopian people made the Delegation a once in a lifetime experience. Also, the meetings we had with Dr. Hodes, the Women and Children’s Center, the Orphanage, and WISE (Self-Employed Women), were all exceptional. And speaking of exceptional, Yohannes was wonderful. Very well-informed on a variety of topics and very patient with all of us. I will send you a copy of the note I am sending to him. | Hi Des Ian and I had a magnificent time in Ethiopia and we have special memories and many photos to help our memory. Our flight home was good and it was great to see our family again. I wanted to again show our thanks to Alex who was such a special person and made our holiday one to remember. Please thank him again. WE were also impressed with your service both professional and personal with some most appreciated extras and we will recommend you to anyone coming to Ethiopia and encourage tourism . | Des, First, We have not yet sampled the areke. We are saving it for a special occasion. Our trip home was fine with no problems. I have been working to get pictures and stories from our trip posted on my blog / journal. It took a little a longer than I planned but here are links to our trip as promised.
